Are you feeling hopeless? Feeling ashamed? Feeling embarrassed? Is it like you are the only one with the issues at hand? Do you contend with running thoughts that no one truly understands? Trista is passionate about sexual health and wellness. She is eclectic in her treatment style working from a person-centered approach to develop strategies for personal growth, healing and hope. Trista believes in the psychosocial care of her clients, as we address immediate presenting issues and gain a better understanding of any deeper-rooted sources of suffering we can foster healthy growth, restoration and change within self and relationships. There is hope. Through a collaborative, therapeutic relationship, improving your quality of life, from YOUR perspective, is her ultimate goal. Trista offers consultation services, sexual health workshops, intensives, sex education groups, clinically lead groups as well as individual and couples therapy.
Trista’s clinical treatment is rooted from a sex positive framework. Reducing shame and harm is an important part of treatment. She believes that presenting issues may be rooted in deeper trauma. Trista has the specialties and training to help unpack emotional hurts of the past that may be preventing an emotionally stable life in the now. Her focus of expertise includes, but is not limited to; pelvic health, sexual performance issues, orgasm difficulties, sexual discrepancy, betrayal trauma, managing menopause, and relationship and gender issues.
On a more personal level Trista prioritizes self-care, self-love and self-acceptance. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family, run, workout, cook and explore nature.
